OVERVIEW

A contemporary bush hotel, Singita Sweni Lodge overlooks the Sweni River in the private Singita Lebombo concession, in the game-rich northern Kruger region of South Africa. Six colorful hotel rooms are hidden in the lush river banks frequented by rare birds and water antelope. The Sweni river is home to a colony of hippo and several crocodile that are often viewed from the suites and main lounge areas. An incredible number of animals and birds wander down to drink or wallow in the river setting before the lodge. The new Singita Cooking School is a usual highlight for Singita regulars seeking to expand their culinary skills while on break from wildlife viewing.

All six suites at lodge as well as the scattered lounge areas and dining deck at main lodge offer the perfect spot from which to observe antelope and birds drawn to the Sweni River. Full lodge kitchen comes with a Head chef and Singita wine cellar. The Lebombo Mountains are a 500-mile-long narrow range in Southern Africa, falling under the wilderness protection of Greater Kruger. Within this area a concession of 37,000 acres was exclusively granted to Singita Investments for a unique eco-luxury model in low-impact safaris. Sweni Lodge offers a spa and Singita boutique. Jogging trails available. Private use of an entire safari lodge for family safaris or couples traveling together.
